AI animation generates a real video clip from your still image, with natural movement, lip-sync for dialogue, and optional background audio. This costs credits and uses the animation model you've selected.

Use the shot

Click the shot in the storyboard or timeline — it's dropped into chat as @ShotN, with an Animate suggestion chip above the message box for one-click access.

Or use the ⋯ menu — hover the shot, open the ⋯ menu, and click Animate.

Either way, the chat pre-fills with Animate @ShotN: and either reuses the shot's saved Animate & Dialogue Prompt or suggests one for you.

1. Edit the prompt if you want — describe the motion, camera movement, and any dialogue together

2. Check or change the animation model in the chat's model picker before sending (see Animation and audio)

3. Send the message

You can also animate a shot through chat:

• "Animate shot 5" or "Animate @shot5"

• "Animate @shot3 and zoom in his face as he smiles"

• "Animate @shot2 with @Sofia saying 'This is my favorite product'"
