Show or hide captions
From the Captions panel:
-
Use the Hide captions for video toggle.
From chat: just say "show captions," "hide captions," or "turn off subtitles."
What captions cover
Captions are generated from your voiceover script (including any dialogue in uploaded audio with spoken words). They do not capture dialogue or speech that comes from an animation model's baked-in audio — see Animation and audio. If a shot's dialogue is coming from the animation itself rather than your voiceover track, it won't appear in captions.
Style changes need the Captions panel
Chat can only turn captions on or off — it can't change how they look. To change the caption style, open the Captions tab and use:
-
Size — S / M / XL
-
Position — bottom / middle / top
-
Highlight — the color used for word-by-word emphasis
-
A grid of caption style presets (click Show more styles... to see the full set)
Each preset bundles a font, weight, and outline treatment, so picking a preset is the way to change the overall look — there's no separate freeform font picker.
