@New Nostalgic Nobody told our parents to calm down with the Christmas lights. Every house on the block was a competition nobody officially entered but everybody was absolutely playing. Tinsel on everything. Ceramic villages on every surface. That one strand of lights that blinked at its own pace and nobody knew why. And the tree? Fake or real, it was buried.
