The Lion and the Mouse Once upon a time, a big lion was sleeping in the sun. A little mouse began playing on top of him, waking the lion up. The lion roared and caught the mouse in his paw, ready to eat him. "Please don't eat me!" squeaked the mouse. "If you let me go, I promise I will help you one day". The lion laughed. "How could a tiny mouse help a big lion like me?" But, feeling kind, he let the mouse go. A few days later, the lion got caught in a hunter's net. He roared
