Here’s a little sweet one for you 🌙 *The Library Lantern* Every evening, Ayo would walk past the old school library and see the same light on. Inside was Mama Bisi, the librarian, sitting alone with a kettle of tea and a stack of books that needed mending. One rainy day, Ayo ducked in to escape the storm. “You’re always here,” he said. Mama Bisi smiled. “Books get lonely too. Someone has to keep them company.” Ayo started stopping by after class. He’d read aloud while she sewed torn pages. She’d pour him tea when he got stuck on homework.
