Ayo had one favorite shirt—bright yellow with a shiny blue button. One morning, the blue button disappeared! He searched under the bed, inside his shoes, even in the dog's mouth. No button. Ayo felt sad, but he still wore the shirt to school. During lunch, he helped his friend Tola pick up her crayons after they spilled. Suddenly, he saw something sparkle under a desk. The blue button! Tola smiled, “Maybe your shirt just wanted to help me too.” Ayo laughed, sewed the button back when he got home, and promised to always help others—just like his adventurous button.
