In the black screen of the TV, he saw his own reflection... smiling back at him, even though he wasn't. Frozen, he blinked for just one second- and the reflection didn't. It slowly raised its hand... and waved first. He finally realized... the thing inside the screen wasn't a reflection. It was waiting for him to blink again."
