Kisaragi Station Yumi fell asleep on the last train home. When she woke, the stations had unfamiliar names. No one spoke. The only other passenger looked up—his face had no eyes. The speaker crackled: “Next stop: Kisaragi.” She remembered the legend. If you step off, you never return. The doors opened to darkness and reaching hands. Yumi ran back into the train. She woke up in her bed, safe. In the mirror behind her, the eyeless man stood smiling. “Welcome back.”
