Shadow figure from last episode slowly steps closer. Mia (breathing heavily): “Who… who are you?” Shadow whispers: “I am the Keeper. The hourglass chooses its owner… and you awakened it.” Mia steps back. Floorboards creak. Shadow: “You must return it… or time will unmake you.” The hourglass sand starts moving backwards, glowing brighter with each second. [Scene 2 – Clocktower Staircase] Mia bolts down the stairs, hourglass in hand. The clocktower begins shaking violently.
