Suddenly, Barnaby encountered a monster: a giant, vibrating Blue Dragon (a common garden dragonfly). It zoomed past his nose, sparking a frantic chase. Barnaby leaped over a terracotta pot and skidded through a patch of petunias, his tail puffed out like a bottle brush. He didn't catch the dragon, but he did discover a very important stick, which he swiped at heroically for ten minutes.
