Elephant, Cat, and Monkey were the best of friends, even though they were nothing alike. One sunny morning, Monkey swung down from a tree holding three shiny tickets. “We’re going to Paris!” he announced. Cat’s tail flicked happily. Elephant trumpeted so loud the birds flew away. They boarded a bright blue train with golden stars painted on the side. Elephant squeezed through the door (it took a little wiggling), Cat settled on the window seat, and Monkey climbed up to the luggage rack, calling it “the best view.” As the train began to move, the three friends watched forests slide
