Koba, the young lion, was raised by Akela, the mother wolf, in her pack. He was the center of attention, getting the best food and belly rubs. Mamba, the oldest wolf, grew resentful of Koba, thinking he was taking over. When Akela fell sick, Mamba saw his chance. He convinced the pack that Koba was planning to eat them when he grew up, and even got Vishna, the crocodile leader, to agree to take Koba out. The pack turned on Koba, trying to kill him. He fell into a cave, but managed to escape. Akela, feeling guilty, searched for Koba
