At 1AM somebody had the genius idea to play hide and seek outside. In the dark. Near abandoned buildings. Exactly the type of decision people regret in documentaries. At first it was funny. Everybody laughing. Running around. Then my friend disappears for WAY too long. Like suspiciously long. Now everybody’s calling his name. No response. Then from somewhere far away… we hear yelling. Not playful yelling. PANICKED yelling. So naturally everybody starts running toward the sound. My heart is already preparing for trauma.
