Something weird just happened. I replied to a Vietnam veteran with a simple message… ‘Thank you for your service.’ That’s it. No extra context. Just respect. And the comment got removed. I’m not angry, I’m honestly confused. Since when is showing appreciation to someone who served… a problem? Especially on videos about the Vietnam War, where a lot of veterans are finally sharing their stories. These are people who lived through history most of us only read about. The least we can do is acknowledge that. So I’ll say it again—just in a different way: Respect to every veteran sharing
