Earth's Almost Double Moon History

Prompt
Did you know Earth almost had two moons? Scientists believe about 4.5 billion years ago, a smaller moon might have orbited Earth along with our current Moon. Eventually, it slowly collided with the bigger moon. That’s why one side of the Moon has huge mountains and thicker crust. So technically… the Moon you see today might actually be two moons fused together. The sky almost had double moon nights.
