On a fresh morning near a quiet pond, a little frog began to jump around happily. Hop! Hop! He leaped from one leaf to another, enjoying the cool air. The frog jumped onto a rock, then into the water with a big splash. Tiny ripples spread across the pond as he swam back to the shore. Dragonflies buzzed above, and the frog jumped again to catch one. He missed, but laughed and kept jumping. As the sun rose higher, the frog rested on a leaf, proud of his joyful jumps. For him, jumping was the best part of the day.
