Story of the King and the Queen

Long ago, in a beautiful kingdom lived a kind king and a wise queen. The king's name was Virendra and the queen's name was Madhavi. Both took great care of their kingdom and the subjects loved them very much.

King Virendra was courageous and just. He always participated in the joys and sorrows of his subjects. Queen Madhavi was very intelligent and helped the king in the administration of the kingdom. Everyone in their kingdom was happy, because both of them found solutions to everyone's problems.

One day the king of a neighboring kingdom attacked their kingdom. King Virendra decided to fight a war with his soldiers. Queen Madhavi explained to the king, "Victory in war is not only achieved by courage, but also by intelligence."

The queen made a plan. She sent a message that the people of her kingdom want peace and they want to make friends with the king of the neighboring kingdom. But this message was a trick. When the king of the neighboring kingdom came to their kingdom, King Virendra surrounded him with his army and took him prisoner.

The neighbouring king accepted defeat and promised that he would never attack their kingdom. Their kingdom became peaceful again because of the wisdom and courage of King Veerendra and Queen Madhavi.

From that day onwards, the King and Queen made their kingdom even stronger and no other kingdom ever dared to attack their kingdom. The love, wisdom and leadership of the King and Queen became an example forever.
