Oliver and the Nighttime Magic Once upon a time, deep in the Whispering Woods, lived a small, fluffy owl named Oliver. Oliver was a very good owl. He had soft feathers, big round eyes, and a beak that was perfect for hooting. But Oliver had a secret: he was afraid of the dark. While all the other owls woke up at sunset to play, Oliver would pull his patchwork quilt up to his beak and tremble. "The dark is too big," Oliver whispered to his teddy bear. "And it’s too quiet."
