How credits work in Hypernatural

Credits are used to generate images, narration, animations, and edits in Hypernatural.

How Credits Work in Hypernatural

Credits are used in Hypernatural to generate and enhance videos. They may be used for images, narration, animation, image editing, and other generation features.

Understanding how credits work can help you better plan your videos and manage usage.

What plans include credits?

Hypernatural is available on paid plans only. Each paid plan includes a set number of subscription credits that can be used to create and enhance videos.

Your available credits depend on your plan. Plans with higher credit allowances let you generate more content during each billing period.

Credits may be used for:

  • generating images

  • regenerating or editing images

  • generating narration

  • generating premium narration

  • animating scenes

  • using advanced generation features

How many credits does a video use?

The number of credits used depends on the features and models used in your video. Some features have fixed or predictable costs, while others vary depending on the model used.

For example:

  • Narration is charged by duration.

  • Premium narration costs more than standard narration.

  • Image generation is charged per image, based on the image model used.

  • Image-to-video animation is charged per clip, based on the animation model used.

  • Some animation models include audio, while others do not.

  • Regenerating or editing content may use additional credits.

Because image and animation costs vary by model, your final credit usage may vary depending on your video settings and generation choices.

Credit costs by feature

Feature

Credit cost

Standard narration

1 credit per 10 seconds

Premium narration

2 credits per 10 seconds

Image generation

Varies by model, charged per image

Image editing or regeneration

Varies by model, charged per image

Scene animation

Varies by model, estimated per clip

Image model costs vary. Some image models are lower cost, while higher-quality models cost more.

Animation model costs also vary. Image-to-video animation costs are estimates per clip because final usage can depend on the model and generation settings.

Actual usage may vary depending on your video settings.

Choosing generation modes

Hypernatural offers different generation modes that affect how credits are used.

  1. Auto-Animate

Auto-Animate automatically animates each generation. This can be useful when you want a fully animated result quickly, but it may use more credits because animation is added automatically.

  2. Image First

Image First starts with still images and lets you choose which scenes to animate later. Use Image First if you want more control over credit usage, because it lets you generate images first, review the results, and only spend animation credits on the scenes you actually want to animate.

Estimate your video cost

You can estimate credit usage before generating by considering:

  • number of scenes

  • number of generated images

  • image model quality or cost level

  • animation model quality or cost level

  • narration type

  • video length

  • whether scenes are animated automatically

  • image edits or regenerations

Because model costs and generation settings vary, estimates may not match your final credit usage exactly.

Example video costs

These examples are estimates. Your actual credit usage may vary depending on the models and settings used.

1. 30-second video using Image First, with standard narration and lower-cost images

Estimated total: 6 credits

Component

Calculation

Credits

Images

3 images × 1 credit per image

3

Narration

30 seconds × 1 credit per 10 seconds

3

Animation

No scenes animated

0

Total

6

This example uses Image First, a lower-cost image model, standard narration, and no animation.

2. 1-minute video using Image First, with premium narration and mid-cost images

Estimated total: 36 credits

Component

Calculation

Credits

Images

6 images × 4 credits per image

24

Premium narration

60 seconds × 2 credits per 10 seconds

12

Animation

No scenes animated

0

Total

36

This example uses Image First, a mid-cost image model, premium narration, and no animation.

3. 1-minute video using Image First, with only 2 scenes animated

Estimated total: 76 credits

Component

Calculation

Credits

Images

6 images × 4 credits per image

24

Premium narration

60 seconds × 2 credits per 10 seconds

12

Animation

2 clips × 20 credits per clip

40

Total

76

This example uses Image First, so only selected scenes are animated. Animation costs vary by model, so this estimate uses 20 credits per animated clip.

4. 1-minute video with every scene animated using a high-cost animation model

Estimated total: up to 516 credits

Component

Calculation

Credits

Images

6 images × 4 credits per image

24

Premium narration

60 seconds × 2 credits per 10 seconds

FAQ

I ran out of credits. How do I get more?

If you run out of credits, you can continue creating videos by:

  • upgrading to a paid plan with more included credits

  • purchasing additional credits with an active subscription

Purchased add-on credits are available on paid plans.

What happens if I run out of credits?

If you run out of credits, you won’t be able to generate additional content that requires credits until you obtain more credits.

You may need to upgrade your paid plan or purchase additional credits before continuing.

When will I get more subscription credits?

Subscription credits refresh automatically when your subscription renews.

  • Monthly subscriptions: credits refresh every month

  • Annual subscriptions: credits refresh every year

Credits are added to your account once the billing renewal is processed.

Do unused subscription credits roll over?

No. Unused subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period.

Subscription credits do not roll over into the next billing period. Once your subscription renews, your new subscription credit balance is added for the new billing period.

Expired subscription credits cannot be restored or used for future generations.

Do purchased add-on credits expire?

Purchased add-on credits do not expire.

However, you need an active subscription to use credits. If your subscription is cancelled or inactive, you won’t be able to use your remaining credits until you start or reactivate a paid subscription.

I didn’t like the content that was generated. Can I get my credits back?

Credits are used whenever content is generated.

Because generative video technology is still evolving, results may not always perfectly match your prompt or expectations.

For this reason, credits cannot be refunded for generated content, even if you decide not to use the output.

Why didn’t my credits refresh?

Credit refresh issues are usually caused by billing or account issues.

Please check the following:

  • Are you logged in using the same email associated with your subscription?

  • Did your most recent subscription payment complete successfully?

  • Did your subscription renew?

  • Did you spend credits after your renewal date?

  • Are you looking for unused credits from a previous billing period? Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period.

If the issue continues, please contact support at help@hypernatural.ai.

How can I optimize my credit usage?

Credit usage depends on video length, number of scenes, narration type, selected models, animation, and regeneration.

To reduce credit usage:

  • use Image First mode instead of Auto-Animate

  • generate images first, then animate only the scenes you need

  • choose lower-cost image or animation models when quality requirements allow

  • avoid unnecessary image regenerations

  • use standard narration instead of premium narration when possible

  • keep videos shorter when possible

If credit usage is your main concern, we recommend using Image First mode. Image First lets you generate still images first, then choose which scenes to animate. This helps you avoid spending animation credits on scenes you may not need animated.

I cancelled my subscription but still have credits. What can I do?

Credits can only be used with an active subscription.

If your subscription is cancelled, you will lose access to paid generation features and won’t be able to use any remaining credits.

Purchased add-on credits do not expire, but you’ll need to reactivate or start a paid subscription to use them.

Unused subscription credits expire at the end of the billing period and cannot be restored.
